Best Solar Shed Lights

If you’re here, the chances are that you’re looking for the best solar shed light for yourself. We understand that the process in itself can be quite daunting. However, fret not!

The main objective of this review is to acquaint you with the top products available on the market.

However, before we get there, it’s important to understand the basics of solar shed lights and what to anticipate with them. Keep going!

Buyers Guide

When it comes to getting the best solar shed light for yourself, there are a few things that you always need to keep in mind.

Note that these need to work in conjunction to produce the best overall effect. You can cherry-pick your way to the best product.

Hence, it’s advisable that you take all of this to heart and use it to the best of your ability.

Here are our top recommendations:

Material

The first thing that we would highly recommend you look into is the material of the shed light.

Generally speaking, choosing something made of metal is your best bet since you won’t have to worry about any type of impact or anything.

Likewise, you can also go with a model manufactured from aluminum. They are lightweight and are easy to install indoors.

The main advice is to choose whatever you want, but keep in mind the surroundings.

Waterproof

Most shed lights are installed in the open, or in a region where moisture might be an issue.

If your solar shed light isn’t waterproof, then you’re essentially gearing yourself towards failure down the road.

It is of utmost importance that you always prioritize models that are waterproof and don’t lose functionality after they come into contact with water.

Remote Control Operation

There will be cases where going outdoors or getting up from your bed might be the last thing you want. In such cases, remote control lights are a blessing.

If you feel that you’re that type of person, then this is a pretty good feature to look into when considering solar shed lights.

This point is optional and not general advice for all. However, if present, it will make your experience so much better!

Light Intensity

Different models have different levels of intensity. Depending on the place you’re installing the light in, make sure that you get a model with the appropriate intensity level.

Failing to do so will make the experience awfully underwhelming and might require you to get more than one model to get the job done right.

A little research is a must when setting out to get the best solar shed light for your house!

Installation Procedure

Some people like to take care of the installation procedure by themselves.

If that’s the case, be sure to choose a model that is user-friendly and doesn’t require too many modifications or technical finesse.

However, if you don’t have any particular reservations about this, then you’re free to choose whatever you want.

I put these Kyson Lights for Shed in an 8×10 shed, both mounted on the same 10ft wall, placed at about the 2.5ft and 7.5ft mark, 6 feet off the ground. The lights light the shed well enough to do basic tasks. I’m really surprised by how much light I get out of such a small solar panel.
Read for a few hours and the light had not dimmed at all. Cannot imagine how well this work in direct sunlight! Very pleased with these lights.
